Keto Cheesecake Squares with Peanut Butter

I’ve been wanting to make some sort of keto cheesecake dessert for a long, long time. Though I always put it off, since making cheese cake always felt so intimidating.

Well rewind to last weekend, and my boyfriend decided to make a very specific low carb request, keto cheesecake bars! Although I wasn’t 100% sure how to proceed, I couldn’t turn down the challenge, so I got to researching.

After making these keto cheesecake squares I realized just how fast and easy it is to make cheesecake! Here’s all the ingredients it takes:   

Keto Cheesecake Squares Ingredients:



  • 1 1/2 cups almond flour 

  • 2 tbsp monkfruit sweetener

  • 2 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


  • 12 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

  • 1/4 cup Monkfruit sweetener

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 2 tbsp peanut butter

Top Drizzle

  • 1 tbsp peanut butter

I tried many different crusts, and none of them seemed to cut it. My boyfriend has very high expectations of cheesecake crust, and I really didn’t want to disappoint.

The keto cheesecake squares’ crust had to be crunchy when taking a bite and it also had to taste delicious. 

Fortunately the crust turned out amazing! After many tests I finally found the one that created a perfectly brown bottom.

While I’m not as crazy about peanut butter as my boyfriend is (he go through jars of peanut butter like he’s on a mission), I really wanted to nail the peanut butter taste too!

Well, let’s just say, this came out so good, that I’m now going nuts for peanut butter too!

I drizzled some peanut butter on top for extra bite and texture. 

If you have crunchy low sugar / sugar-free peanut butter, then you can add it on top for even more texture. These keto cheesecake bars truly are a peanut butter lover’s  creamy keto dream!

What kind of peanut butter can I use?

The usual peanut butter that you find at the grocery store is full of sugar so you’ll have to start buying something with lower sugar.

We found our peanut butter at BJ’s – Wellsley Farms Peanut Butter, it only has 2 net carbs per 16g serving!

What kind of toppings can I use in these keto cheesecake bars?

I love to drizzle some chocolate on top of anything but especially when it comes to combining chocolate and peanut butter. They’re such a great pair!

Get some sugar-free chocolate and melt it in the microwave for a sugar free drizzel. Then add some salted peanuts on top for an extra crunch.

Keto Cheesecake Squares with Peanut Butter

  • 8 x 8 inch pan



  • cups almond flour
  • 2 tbsp monkfruit sweetener
  • 2 oz cream cheese softened
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter softened
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract


  • 12 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup monkfruit sweetener
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter

Top Drizzel

  • 1 tbsp peanut butter


  • Preheat the oven to 350F 
  • Place all the crust ingredients in a bowl. Beat the ingredients with an electric mixer until all combined.  You could also place them in a food processor for 1-2 minutes. 
  • Prepare an 8x8 inch pan with parchment paper. Spread the dough on the bottom until is evenly flat. 
  • Place your crust in the oven for 10min. 
  • Mix all your filling ingredients in a a bowl with an electric mixer or a food processor until all is well combined. 
  • Take your crust out of the oven and pour the filling mixture on top. Drizzle 1 tbsp of peanut butter and mix it by making s-shapes from side to side.
  • Place the pan in the oven for 35-40 minutes or until the center is slightly firm.
  • Let it cool for 30 minutes before cutting. Enjoy!
